Tone

Tone is the voice your reviews are written in. Pick the one that matches how you want to sound:

• Casual: relaxed and conversational, like a friend recommending you.
• Professional: polished and to the point.
• Enthusiastic: upbeat and energetic.
• Friendly: warm and approachable.

We set the best-match tone for your business type when your account is created. You can keep it or change it any time. Hover the tooltip next to Tone to see the same review written in each voice.

Length

Length controls how much detail each review covers:

• Extra short: 50 to 100 characters.
• Short: 100 to 150 characters.
• Medium: 150 to 210 characters.
• Long: 210 to 300 characters.

Shorter lengths suit high-volume places like cafes and retail where customers want to tap and go. Longer lengths suit clinics and professional services where a customer will spend a minute.

Vary review length

Turn on Vary review length to mix in some longer reviews automatically. About 30 percent are generated one size larger than your chosen length (Long mixes in Medium instead). Reviews that are all the same length can look machine-written, so this variety keeps them reading as authentic and lowers the chance Google filters them.
